What I Offer

In-person sessions: Hannah's Paper Daisies offers face-to-face learning sessions from a dedicated learning space in Castlemaine, Victoria. Creating a calm, welcoming environment is an important part of the experience, allowing children the time and space to learn, ask questions and explore ideas.

After School Art Workshops for Term 4, 2026 (coming soon)

Hannah's Paper Daisies will soon offer small-group art workshops for children aged 8–13, providing opportunities to explore different mediums, develop artistic skills and build confidence in a calm and welcoming environment.

Workshops run for one hour and are designed as a school term-length learning program, with each session building on skills and ideas explored throughout the term. To support this learning journey, enrolment is for the full term rather than individual sessions.

Each student enrolled for the term will receive their own visual journal to document their experiments, observations and artistic development - a beautiful keepsake of their artistic journey!

With a maximum of five students per session, these workshops are designed for children who enjoy taking their time, experimenting with materials and developing their skills through guided exploration.

Homeschooling families or groups interested in daytime art workshops are also welcome to contact me.

Primary Literacy Tutoring and Support

Individual literacy sessions are tailored to your child's current skills, strengths and learning goals. Together we may work on reading, spelling, writing, comprehension, phonics or other areas of literacy, depending on your child's needs. Sessions are personalised, engaging and adapted as your child grows.

I use the Sounds-Write approach to support reading and spelling development. Sounds-Write is a highly regarded, evidence-based phonics program that teaches children how the sounds in spoken words connect to the letters and spellings used in written words. Lessons are taught in a clear, structured sequence, helping children develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to become successful readers, writers and spellers.

While Sounds-Write provides the structure, every session is adapted to the individual child, allowing them to learn in a calm, encouraging environment at a pace that suits them.

A flexible approach to learning
Children who have experienced gaps in schooling are very welcome. I understand that learning doesn't always happen in a straight line, and I'm happy to meet your child where they are and work from there.
