Meet & Chat
For families interested in literacy support, choosing the right approach for your child is an important decision.
Before beginning literacy sessions, I invite families to attend a complimentary 30-minute Meet & Chat. This gives us an opportunity to meet, discuss your child's interests, strengths and learning goals, and explore how Hannah's Paper Daisies may be able to support their learning.
It is also a chance for us to ask questions and determine whether Hannah's Paper Daisies is the right fit for your family.
What to Bring
If available, families seeking literacy support are welcome to bring examples of their child's writing, reading assessments, school reports or any other information that may help me gain a better understanding of their learning needs.
This is entirely optional and simply provides a helpful starting point for planning future sessions.
Your First Session
The first literacy session is an opportunity for me to get to know your child and understand their current skills, strengths and learning goals. Through a range of informal literacy and phonics activities, I'll gain an understanding of where your child is currently at so I can plan future sessions to best support their learning. Most importantly, the first session is about helping your child feel comfortable, building a connection and getting to know one another.
